Card & Caring Ministry

Mission: To express care and encouragement to our GV SDA church members and families during times of illness, loss or other issues by way of receiving a special card in the mail. This is an opportunity for the deaconesses to offer sincere words of encouragement and possibly a prayer to someone in real need but still giving people their private space and or needed time to cope. This card ministry can also provide a way to help celebrate the joys in someone’s life as well!  Note: It is important that we respect people’s privacy where appropriate and will not share information that is given in confidence.

We are asking YOU to help participate each month in this ministry by emailing or calling me or Dee Simmons anytime you know of a church member that would benefit from being sent a personal card! Not everyone has a computer or smart phone.
